Guest Owen Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 I have been thinking about getting a rescue greyhound. Let us know how you get on with him. At the moment I have a supercharged border collie to train but I thought I would like a greyhound a bit later on.
billt Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Very nice looking dog, see he's catching up on the British birds, super temperament the Greyhounds have, sounds like Owen needs one to catch his collie
showman Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Sincerest best wishes with Pipkin. I'm a great believer in re-homing dogs, regardless of their type or breed. After all, I've got 5 rescue dogs !!Best wishes for the future, and a big well done.

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 I have been thinking about getting a rescue greyhound. Let us know how you get on with him. At the moment I have a supercharged border collie to train but I thought I would like a greyhound a bit later on.He is our third rescued hound, they suit us perfectly after they are walked in the morning they sleep for hours, same in the afternoon a short walk ,fed then sleep till out for their last toilet at night and they travel great in the car as an example when we are going to to my mums in Scotland we put them in the car and they never move till we get there which is about four hours and we then sometimes have to waken one,for pets I would say you could not get anything better and we intend rescuing greyhounds for as long as we are able
