William Reid Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Have had a couple of pms asking how it got in to my loft .and also was told it would not remove pigeons from the loft .have cleaned the area around the door because of the mess it had made .if the photos come up ok you can see were it was pushing its way under the door .and if you look at the brick to the right hand side you can see the blood on it .it also had a good chew at the bottom corner of the door .

I would be tempted at fixing a pair of childrens bicycle stabilisers with the wheels pressing against it to save anyting getting under it again .

They will then go off to try to find food to avoid starving to death. This is probably why it turned up at your place and away from water. During it's journey to your place it will have left a scent trail which will stay active for months. If there happens to be another mink driven off they will be very likely to follow the trail and turn up at your place. I think it would be wise to keep a tunnel trap set and ready in case you get another visitor.
