yes well done lads but note the difference when we go east in an east wind very few losses if we are racing the west route id like the race controller to have the power in the event of a strong east or south east wind forcast we switch to an easterly race point this gives the birds time to get there line be fore they are way over the irish sea resulting in heavy losses a race point in the east about the 150 mile mark so our birds are still getting a good work out and much safer what do you think lanarkshire it would be another move forward in safe guarding our pigeons

I think Ian Henderson was replaced by a real yin and credit must go to the new secretary Jim Cameron for picking up the pieces and doing a first class job.Big Gareth has worked tirelessly also :emoticon-0137-clapping:

In Yb racing the controller has the authority to change a race point if he feels the programmed race point is unfavourable for any reason.

I would like it known that apart from the first 3 or 4 Ob races Davy Young did the job entirely based on his own judgements and information from fellow fanciers around the country who were giving him line of flight details, Mike Currie at Moffat is an example, who's info was priceless to Davy over the season and Davy made It very clear to me how much he appreciated all the help he got from Mike, so a big Thanks to Mike from all our members.

So a massive well done to Davy who took arguably the most difficilt job of all on and used all resources available to make what was one of our best seasons for returns that we have had for some time. Well done Davy.

Itotaly agree that the men involved in the transformation of the Lanarkshire Fed into the modern area should be proud of themselves They have awakened the sleeping giant to the possibilities of what can be done with good leadership Well done to all.

Tom you deserve plaudits yourself, ive been in the sport and a member of Lanarkshire federation for 30 years (hard to believe) and without question you have been the best PRO that we have ever had. Keep up the good work. :emoticon-0137-clapping:
