phillips Posted January 31, 2009 Author Report Posted January 31, 2009 credit to u any reason ur using felts and straw or do u just leave it up to the birds if they want to use the straw to build on top of the felts i always use straw till the ybs are around 7 days old then throw the nest and replace with nest felts and scatter fresh straw on the loft floor i just feel the ybs are better and cleaner this way
