Only outcome is inferior young. The losses and amount of sickness can be related to this ... but yet to be proven. Mick
R.A.M.C.63 Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 Aye bang on Mik, its just a joke, oh look think somthing the matter we it eye so i think cure will BE ????? lets expletive removed* its liver and kidneys then put it under strain by racing it, but to sugests antibotics when you havn,t even handled birds very poor diagnoses, start with strongest and work to weakest, weak birds produce weak birds, birds need shored up we meds, Rant over
eastcoaster Posted August 31, 2013 Author Report Posted August 31, 2013 I think you are all going over board ! All Mick said was 2 small drops on tongue and baytril like all other antibiotics are ok in the correct dose . Thanks for all your replies .Could the admin lock this now please . Thanks
sammy Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 Yes correct Mick improper use and wrong dosage Should only be used when necessary I was told about the 2 very small drops onto the tongue of a very ill pigeon by who I regard as the most respected fancier in the uk and he was instructed of this by his very special friend wim peters enough said my friend I will continue to keep my birds in the best of health as I see fit and let others make there own decisions In the wrong hands a little knowledge is dangerous Ps the yb that I posted the picture of a few weeks back after nearly loosing its head to a falcon the vets did not expect it to survive after they stitched it together sent it home with my daughter with some baytril and it is flying with the others Atb mick one small drop the size of a TEAR DROP is enough 3 times a day for three days is sufficient to move anything on without affecting the pigeons gut FLORA but would still give good probiotic though
