Bobby4 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 How many races do your naturals ybs get?every race
andy Burgess Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 sent some to the yb national last year Geo
yeboah Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 How many races do your naturals ybs get?Ok if they are holding good feather George if they start to moult and get bare about the nose as the weather gets cooler they can't compete against a team of healthy Darkies so if in that state better put by as they are only competing and not Winning ,atb Mick
Wiley Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Natural young birds down in London and Essex can compete with darkness youngsters for 3 races afterwards the darkness comes to the forefront and the difference is massive
Roland Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Parents mated in April are best. With the extra energy quota for the moult they do take all the beating.
MIK Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 natural bred March/April and depending on numbers/moult 3-5 races to 200 mile then stopped. might be wrong ..but thats just me
ray Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 sent mine to 230 odd miles but way behind darkies and last year 155 miles and really they are just getting worse after that as they try and keep up the pace it can only knacker them so this year they'll go to 112 miles then i'll stop them you have no chance of winning a race unless there is a hurricane tail wind up them
