i know the rpra ones are supposed to be but i didnt think su ones had to be apart from the fed stamp but its on the ring I know you have to remove the wing stamp for the snfc yb nat but need them wing stamped for the snrpc yb nat

The most useless thing out the wing stamp 9 out of 10 times you can't read it any way I know guys with Addressrings on and lose 40 to 50 birds a year and never to have a bird reported personally I've never wing stamped a bird in 23 years

Don't think wing stamp or address rings stop you losing them but it helps when you stick to the rules

yes with fed wing stamp is it not john i though personal details were not allowed , if they are why are they removed at snfc yb national is that not breaking shu rules then . :emoticon-0167-beer:

just seen the rule there you can either put your personal details on or just your fed name . putting just your fed name on is pointless if you have the fed initial on ring so dosent help folk contact any more than looking at the ring liste does.

it helps with stray y/bs especially in the stray centre rab

when if you had any from other areas then a stamp with your club/fed name and a contact number

helps get the birds get sent to the correct fed

 

plus it can help with non fanciers of which some do see a brightly coloured wingstamp

every little helps

shu rule and if not wing stamped you shouldn,t be racing them. i have had 9 dundee birds in and my son released them at his work in dundee and not one were wing stamped. whats going on lads

Can only speak for my own club(FORFAR), no birds allowed to be marked for racing if not wingstamped. One lads birds were stamped as they were marked, as per SHU rule. Not only members blame but officials of club should be more diligent.

Just my opinion, if they are not wingstamped then is all else ok before racing????????
