Finally had an Alencon doo arrive home tonight she was blown up like a balloon due to ruptured airsacs. I would like to thank whoever looked after her and got her nearer home but must ask the question why remove her ets ring?

Stuart I got my good hen hame this afternoon she has a cut down her side and by the looks and feels of her she has been living rough chuffed to see her . Bet your chuffed to see your doo but at the same time wander what she might of done if she never got hurt ?. As for the sad person who either caught her or got her in you are a sad person who dose,nt deserve to be a doo man

Only hope whovever is responsible for assigning the ets rings picks up the wrong loft number which is stored in the ring .

Surely with today's technology the manufacturers should be able to build in a system whereas the loft number could not be transferred had this happen on more than one occasion sad people about ,

Glad to see her back! She looks like shes been pumped full of air, her whole body is like a balloon, I deflated her with the help of a pmv needle,, some gentle pressure and most of the air had gone!

they get brittle and ive seen a few come off while training

and even a couple lying broken in the basket

 

fanciers keep blaming other fanciers for removeing the rings

when in reality the majority will have been broken during a knock

and fallen off
