Been having a look at the birdage in the sections of the federation from the first five races

 

West section 12, 638 birds Centre section 7236 Birds East section 7440 birds

Every section receives 15 fed tickets surely the west section should get more section tickets. Maybe similar to the snfc tickets per entry would be better.

What's your thoughts???

Over the years the sectional birdage has fluctuated considerably Frank, now i'm not old enough to tell you when 15 tickets was introduced but it has Never changed regardless of birdage. A far better way to achieve parity would be by number of Members sending rather than the number of birds. jmo.

I also think it would be a good idea to do a proper result of the first 30 birds timed.

There are men still racing pigeons who have been awarded tickets in the first 15 who's birds raced against CONSIDERABLY more birds that 12k+ over five races, what do we say to the members that were 16th on those occasions??

you cant beat time, you dont complain FRANK when the birds are sectioned in the national, why would you want a list the lenght of your arm for a section that has the most birds when 15 of yer best birds go on it normaly, if it was a cash prize for the most

named fancier on the fed at the end of the season well that would work, if you added all there velocitys together and then have a prize from the fed to each top guy for the 3 sections they are in there are guys that can have 3 birds in the fed but dont top it so that could help them

John things change. We could all mention changes from history. The snfc cut the pro rata for birds winning tickets. I am just trying to open up a wee debate.

Twice the west section has sent more birds than both the east and central section put together. But they get double the tickets?

Another way would be to cut the section tickets to 10 for the east and central sections.

Belgium it's 1 prize for every 3 birds entered

Lanarkshire fed it can be depending on birdage, 1 prize for every 200 entered

 

Personally I would like to see it 1 prize from every 100 birds entered with a guaranteed 15 prizes per section.

the first 50 birds on the day should be the only ones getting a fed ticket regaless of wot section thare in expletive remove FRANK wot do you want 20 30 40 section prices for the west section because thay send more birds wot good are the tickets if yor no near the top any way thout you dident fly doos any more so your point dosent even need a rely your getting wors than me lol

Still a member of the fed shu and my club. Infact just back from one of the top lofts in Scotland and I have picked two all poolers at another loft.Only making a point Tam! Your idea sounds a good idea do away with all the sections open result only. Oh and nobody can be worse than you .....good luck this week your odds on fav this weekend.

I would leave it the way it is, it might be different if there was money prizes involved but at this moment you get SFA for winning a fed ticket apart from the fed open races.

dont think the boys in the west are that hard up to get fed tickets wonder whos makeing your bulets frank thay only go in the bin anway lol
