hotrod Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 This is a first for me anyway , have a latebred cock stopped the moult around Xmas. With one to go , they are only paired up for a month or so. , not had a youngster to rear , tossed him on Sunday ,he was late home , went to basket him today and he has now dropped the last flight , but still has 9 other flights on each wing , never seen this before in 36 years of keeping pigeons , yes they will drop the last ones when the main moult is under way but not first .anyone else had this ?
Delboy Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Sometimes they drop the last and first at the same time Stu. Ive had a few do this, its not uncommon m8.
Wiley Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 It's not uncommon with a latebred I'm sorry to say.
