fid Posted March 3, 2013 Author Report Posted March 3, 2013 Very hard race for opener,so far 41/48 and they are still coming.
kirky Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 dont you have holdovers when weather is bad it must have been forecast.

lanarkshire lad Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 Very hard race for opener,so far 41/48 and they are still coming.I would have thought that from 165ml for there first race 41 from 48 was very good returns.
hotrod Posted March 3, 2013 Report Posted March 3, 2013 I would have thought that from 165ml for there first race 41 from 48 was very good returns. I think most in Scotland would be over the moon with that if 165 miles was the first race plus a headwind into the bargain ,can't be many BOPS in Portugal
fid Posted March 3, 2013 Author Report Posted March 3, 2013 Birds were libbed in decent weather but were meeting the bad stuff en-route,has to be realy bad before you have a holdover. there are bop but they seem to be moved on if they become a problem.!!!I think a headwind in first race combined with heavy rain at 165ml is asking your yearlings some serious questions considering there are no y/b racing here.Never mind there is always next week and i can try again.
