this loft is 6 trailers long and only houses 600 pigeons each section is the size of a trailer with 100 birds per trailer size BILLY would need 10 trailers going by this

george go on to his web site it states they were looking for around 1000 ybs to comidate this race and the loft at 40 foot he states over a hundred perches in a section he has two trailers for the lofts i know people who were putting birds to this one loft race and have changed there minds because of the birds that are going in a section would you put 100 ybs in a 8 or 10 feet section george i for one would not

george we know that but it states he is looking for around 1000 to comidate the lofts 5 or 6 hundred would be a disaster for this one loft race i wish billy and all that has put birds into it that its a sucess but i think they are strugling george there ybs in that loft so far they have not seen daylight and they look strong to me

i for one wont be entering this OLR... too many grey areas at the moment for me! :emoticon-0138-thinking:

imo, pigeons competeing in a OLR should be class pigeons with the brain and heart to accomplish a flight on there own merit, not a possible 'lucky tail biter' who gets a 'cuddy back' up the road with pigeons from a joint liberation! and i refer to the final and the hot spots who everybody wants to win with the big cash prizes!

from the final and the hot spots which involve large sums of cash, imo should be a single liberation where all pigeons are heading to the one loft and only the best can come to the front... is it fair that fanciers who have paid hundreds of pounds to enter and at the final and there pigeons get dragged off the line of flight because pigeons are heading to different areas in different sections due to a joint liberation... not for me i'm afraid!!! :(

But initially the attractive thing about this OLR for us guys in the west was the chance it was giving to win the SNFC YB National.Up with another convoy???

how does that work Del if you won it would it not be billy hollands name on the trophy and in the history books, for that reason i dont think they should be allowed to compete with any national jmo , i thought the race was for the 10 k first prize money .

Canny remember how they did it before Rab?? The SHU OLR went with the SNFC before but canny remember how the result looked.Something tells me your right enough.Mind ye, they had their big money race the week before and any doos that made it back had a chance to compete in the national.
