Club Invisible Member

Just asking if anyother clubs have invisible members,we have a member in our club who has flowing in just about every race since joining the club about 4 years ago and i've never even seen the man,another member takes his birds down for him ever week to be marked would any other club put up with this?.

What if everbody done the same there wouldn't be enough members to mark the birds some weeks.

as long as he pays his fee's and there's no club rules to the contrary

in most clubs you are suppposed to be on basketting commitee to mark birds or clock committe to set clocks so if hes no on the commitee dont make nae diffo , the guy that brings them must be marking them for him its no like hes just dropped a basket at club door at least someones responcible for them

like i said to harry clubs normally have a basketting commitee if yer no oan it ye dont handle birds ,at most clubs ive been in its normally the same lads doing the handling as a good few i know like doing it the rest just gab ootside most times so widny make no diffo if 10 of them wernt there , 1 marking sheet and 2 hndling is enough for 1 ringer or ets as if there more there just standing holding doos in a que

davy i know in my club , not sure about harrys,

they are sometimes struggleing for enough members

to form a basketing comittee

 

also said davy that if they didnt have a valid reason

which illness, disability , would count as such

but to just not turn up every week because they cant be bothered

or it interferes with them going to the pub

is just not acceptable

no rab the other guy takes his own birds and the other guys i do marking most weeks and get time off work when needs must so if he dont come do his share i aint putting them through end of

I've never heard of the guy having any health problems, if being a millionaire is a health problem so be it.
