andy the low battery warning came on my base station at the begining of the year

i still managed to use it for the whole season then get the battery changed the following january,

the cost was £80 and a further £5 postage

 

ps- its the older style system i have,not the champ

thanks Dave , interesting that you used it all season .assuming just switched on a race day ?? dont know which model ours is for sure ,and as quoted before my price may be out ,but its being looked into.

It's a total rip of it was talked about before these batteries can be purchased for under a £1

And they can only rob us after we have bought their system either by the price of rings or

Batteries ,rings that cost about 5p to produce .

shame we dont know who makes them .if unions went direct ,could be a great saving
