I can remember the old transport museum in Eglighton toll and might be that things seem better when looking back to when you were a wean, but when i went to the new one i could not help but think that although a new venue it didnae seem to have as much in it as the original one but still good tae see.

The old one I went to at Kelvingrove I felt was better maybe because I was a kid too but in the new one they don't really let the weans on anything like the last one

The Eglighton Toll one was before they moved it to Kelvigrove, growing up in the 70,s in the south side of glasgow my Grand dad used to take me alot as it was free and there was not a lot of money about in them days and you could get on all the steam trains etc great memories.

Eggy toll 1 was in Albert dr

Memory not too clever. Was that not an interim move? Used to be at Kelvin Hall, moved out to old tram depot (next to Pollokshields East station) which is now Tramway Theatre - then ??? OR was it there first then Kelvin Hall, then Clydeside?
