Briliant Weekend!

My weekend started with 3 or 4 glasses of white wine on friday afternoon followed by a couple of hawfs and an early night for me Then up early saturday morning to feed the doos then pick up a good friend of mine and head to the SNFC meeting which was a shambles and when it finished we headed to the Cairn hotel for the SNRPC presentation (but to be honest i was dissapointed as people who had meadls to collect didnae bother turning up which is a shame and if it was up to me their medals wouldnae be there and no chance there names would be read oot but that's no ma decision but after the presentation we had a great night in the bar as i didnae think much of the band....Went tae bed at 3 this morning showered and doon for breakfast at 8.30am and had a laugh with with someone who shall remain nameless but i had a great time and off home we went and our club AGM was at 12.30 so had a bit of a talk at the meeting and after all the sh!t was sorted out we retired to the bar and had 8 or 9 pints

 

To be honest a full weekend of talking doos is great and i cannae wait to do it again ^_^

sounds like you had a good wee time Alf,and same as you winning prizes in national racing and not collecting the prizes is a bad show!!!

Aye it's a great night at the cairn just a pity about the awfull band , won't be back until they get something decent .and I missed the snfc presentation as well due to work commitments .

Aye Stuart the band urnae the best but after the meal was finished we moved through to the bar tae talk doos so never really bothered about it bit we were talking about the band later on with Wee Frank and i agreee they urnae good mate but people need to get it sorted at the AGM in a couple of weeks

I myself never go to presentation nights as for me its prob the thing i dont like most about pigeons presetations and agms , but i always arrange for someone to collect anything for me and i also agree its not nice to be read out and no one comes up to collect either as they should have arranged a step in to collect at least .
