Went to see ma old dad who's just got out of hospital he's suffering from cancer and in a bad way anyway what a delight to see our two old lofts still standing but need a bit of work. But even more of a delight when a seen some of our old trophies on display my last full season flying with him.

First bird Ripon young bird open all 2000 all in the millenium.

 

 

Then a seen the one from 1982 runner up combine average 1982 a was only 13

 

its no wonder still got the bug

 

hope the oldman pulls through going to be tough might get him a couple of pair for his Xmas lol

Thanks mate he's fighting on but don't think he can carry himself much longer hope he does maybe be able to restart next young bird season. Seeing a couple of young things flying about maybe get him into gear lol

Thanks mate canny believe it we used to have so many aruguments about fresh water when he was away playing bowls and a was working or the stock cocks away to training or birds not basketed for races but we always got over it lol

I Remeber the first year the national could not go across the water think they raced from Dorchester we timed in to be 91st West section only to be disquilified as ma old man had got the last two digits mixed up on the transfer lol
