Correct in what you are saying novice you are coming into one of the most congested routes in the Uk as well as all the South racing Feds and Combine all of the North Roaders race down the East route

the way I see things pigeon men need to start thinking of the pigeons and not what advantage they can gain through overfly this is the biggest problem imo advantage advantage advantage berore thinking about the welfare of the pigeons . we in midlothian flew the west route with our youngbirds in 2011 and had good raceing and returns but when it came to the agm the boys that were losing there advantage with overfly voted to get the birds back down the east and a lot of these guys that voted for that route couldnt even finish the youngbird program because of losses but they still want to go back down east route next year . as I have said its time to put the welfare of the birds first before advantage of overfly

Totally agree Gareth but the ones that flew with south Lanarkshire this year

Would do the same if the vote was for the west in 2015 they don't know what

gareth in situations like this i think from now on each club in the lanarkshire fed should get a voting slip sent out to each club for members to cast there votes east or west and have each member vote to see were they want to fly from and the delegates from each club have it present at a delegates meeting then your getting a better reflection were folk want to fly from i for one could not attend the meeting because of family circumstances a lot of folk would have been the same because the vote was very close it would save all this bickering and get a true reflection were the hole of lanarshire want to be flying from

I was working Saturday so will have to go with the vote. For me west route is the best for the pigeons.another step backwards in the doo game what's new jmo.
