Tony C Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 Losses reported down this end too so there's a good chance they clashed with our pigeons coming out of Wetherby. (the majority of our pigeons have NWHU rings on) Will pass the word around 1967.
REDCHEQHEN Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 I think Bubwith replaced the Selby liberation site It's an airfield anyway Shame about the clashingLets hope you can get plenty together in the same place to save on pick ups - one thing I will advise - to help yourselves and help the couriers - to make things as economical as possible all round - consider: We had a bird reported - arranged a courier, told the finder (a fancier also) who we had arranged the bird to be picked up with - now this fancier had 2 other strays in (and I think they were all from the same race...!!) They were picked up by 3 different couriers - now we know there is no - or very little profit for the couriers - but I think details could have been passed on to the other two with strays (don't you?)
