andy Burgess Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 ive noticed on another thread ,a few fanciers training on a Friday .do you train on a Friday , if so why , and what are your results like ??
bibendium Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 Just the wee ones training today for me Andy 8 sent 8 home 1st toss
sapper756 Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 the only reason I trained today, was because our racing does not start until next week, would never train the day before a race, although some folks do.
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 Have also noticed that some fanciers dont let their birds out on a Friday, often wondered what the thinking in that was, mind I suppose the obvious being that they could go off and spend hours away or even suffer a bop attack.
Guest joshdonlan Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 given the chance i would train every Friday morning 15 miles
andy Burgess Posted July 27, 2012 Author Report Posted July 27, 2012 good answers ,keep the views coming .
yeboah Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 First time today in 40 years that i have ever trained birds that were due to race ,reason being with the awful weather felt they could do with a toss today with the wind being very strong west like it has to be tomorrow ,took them to 20 mls and put them up in small batches came very well all home so ready for the race now
