wife and daughter took 3 lanarkshire 1 midland 1 nw and one plain rung su bird up the road tonight and liberated at abington services at 7-15 into sunshine and sw wind birds cleared well had to calls of birds returning safely only put my name on slip so well done for going to trouble of getting my number wife and daughter well pleased with there efforts future convoyers :lol:

Thanks all,midlothian yearling in tonight will feed up tomorrow and some men from moffat who are working in edinburgh at present will lib it wed morning just like to get them clear of these bloody hills and give them a chance every bird that comes in is treated as if it were one of ours we're all jock thomson's bairns.

Thanks all,midlothian yearling in tonight will feed up tomorrow and some men from moffat who are working in edinburgh at present will lib it wed morning just like to get them clear of these bloody hills and give them a chance every bird that comes in is treated as if it were one of ours we're all jock thomson's bairns.

Liz does the same for any here,at the moment we have 4 in,one is going back up to Hamilton today,the one from Ireland he told us to keep it ,not ask if we wanted it just told to keep it,it will be tossed from the coast in the morning and one the old chap will send for it next week and the other is a young bird which is owned about 150 miles south of us and he asked us to toss it!!! it will be reported to the RPRA,OF THE 4 BIRDS WE HAVE IN NOT ONE IS WING STAMPED

same goes on here too Tam ,a lot of Northern birds ,get tossed up (taken basket loads to Fife) Western birds get taken over (when Babybird has releases) and South birds are given to Spider Rowley who takes them down to Steve Aitchinson (if NEHU to stray centre) others he delivers some to the door .most fanciers seem happy for the help ,but a good few ........... dont seem bothered at all
