Remember that in addition to being oil-based, the dose is 0.25ml, there is a different minimum age and it takes longer for this vaccine to take effect. It's all on the leaflet that comes with it.

I use Nobilis, oil based, did a batch on Tuesday and noticed a young red with an oily patch at the vacc. site so I've re-done that one, A good reason for using the oil based vaccines I think

I have been using de Weerd's vaccine which is water based and it is much better then either of the other two. First of all it is by far the quickest acting vaccine that I have used and it is much easier to inject because the vaccine flows better. If you have a problem you are able to inject pigeons that are feeding young which is a great help.

I reckon that the days of being able to obtain Columbervac are just about over because they have decided that the Pigeon Sport does not make enough profit for them. Nobivac is much too hard to inject to suit me because being oil based it can get very thick if you store it in the fridge which can lead to mistakes and injured pigeons. Besides, I had a bad experience with this vaccine a few years ago and, to be honest, I don't trust it.
