Open door used to be faster trapping system however for fastest clocking ets is faster so a trap more effective , Sputniks are ok but personally I don't like the birds dropping in on to a solid floor , also the floor when rains turns the Sputnik floor into a right mess , also this damp also getting taken in to loft if left without a gate on so to me the Sputnik as a trap aint an ideal solution :)

i used open door and was happy enough ,after moving up and having E.T.S. have put sputniks up , they seem to trap fine and no having to grab them is ideal. :emoticon-0137-clapping: .

i use sputniks no problems covered in so no rain gets in, ideal for ets.
