I have a young birds to A dark pied Cock and a Blue Hen and one of the young birds has like a mealy red in it. do you think that another Cock has got to the hen as the dark pied cock has always thrown dark pigeons in the past>

It seems to have slight red tips on the end of its flight though it is still only young. Yes there is one mealy cock in the same section but have never seen it bother with hen

It's 'bronzing' - immature black, that'll moult out a dark, or a dark chequer. 2 x blue / black birds can't throw a red.

Yes that's correct, lots of youngsters carry false colouring especially in their flights, like partial white flights that always disappear in the first moult
