Guest ljb107 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 think the odd ring is to keep BOP away they whistle, Not sure how the ring would whistle, my birds have always tucked their legs in while flying. This is what whistles:- Young tumbler cross with a hatong. Lloyd What the hell is on top off the pigeon Looks like an earth worm to me

joe2 Posted November 26, 2011 Author Report Posted November 26, 2011 Can't find anything like it on google, very odd, if you notice the lower ring is loose & not attached to the large perforated ring.
DJWa Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 if not any of the above could it be for a tracking device
ivory Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 I would suggest it supports a previously broken leg. The leg looks a bit out of normal shape.

rolldowns Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 looks like a leg splint thats starting to perish with the weather like a race rubber does
