I can remember when I was a kid,two or three of us went down the river nearly every day,the price of fishing gear was silly money to us so we used to visit an old timer who made his own spinners.He had made a lathe out of an old singer sawing machine,we used to give him a couple of fish and he'd supply us with the spinners.
