Guest yorkshire terrier 77 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 on all the vids i have watched just say that temp and humidity only matter in the race season when you want form , and cold no matter how bad will do the pigeons any harm in fact its good for them and to open the lofts up and let the cold air snow watever into the loft , all bar the rain i would say . just what i have read and listened to on the vids.
Guest geordiejen Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 the only thing about the very cold is the water freezing, last year was a nightmare.oing home to a frozen solid drinker, having to get the frozen water out then adding new water took ages it seemed.what i ended up doing was keeping the drinkers in the house and then at feeding time taking them back out for half an hour.
yeboah Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 As Long as they have no overcrowding and plenty of fresh air all is well ,like us they hate sitting in a draft, jmo

andy Burgess Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 apart from the heating pads cant believe someone has not come up with something to solve this problem have often thought about placing drinker bowl in a block of polystyrene , dont know if this would work or not ?
