Guest Owen Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 I have sprint pigeons which I have developed myself. I used van Reets, Braspenning, Several strains of Janssen, van Rijn, Lambrechts and Willems mainly. However, I reckon sprinting is a much to do with the training the birds have and the motivation they get as anything else. Most strains of pigeon will sprint fairly well if you train them properly, after that it is just a question of selection and progeny testing.

JohnQuinn Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Evidence in some Lanarkshire lofts that the Jan Grondolaers are the best sprinters, though G W & P Macaloney are racing Vandenbelle's and they are virtually impossible to beat at times, mind you wee George could motivate streeters to win
