Advice With Show Racers.

hi everyone it has come through that a show in egremont has been cancelled due to an outbreak of pmv.i understand on the schedules it says all show racers must be vaccinated.ok thats fine but ive learned today that the form you get with the vaccination should be filled out with the batch number,date and 3 signatures as proof of vaccination.do i need all this to show my racers?

Yeah just the same mate.... When entering Blackpool and things they send a vaccination sheet out but only you sign it. Most shows dont ask for vaccination sheet. Just trust that your responsible enough to do it every year. For your own safety I suggest not to miss a years course of jags. We jag all birds before pair up and all young as they get weaned

NEHU requires a copy of vaccination sheet with entry form for their show :rolleyes:

dont really understand why show racers need to be treated the same as racing racers.do some people race show racers?

the reason being that some keep both often in the same loft be it in seperate sections,but it is more about the movement of birds from one area to another.
