Looking to fit some perspex panels to the roof of the both lofts and incorporate vents at the same time. I feel the loft is too stuffy, and not bright enough. I,ll get some photos in due course.

 

Great stuff take photos before and after :)

It's not the vents i've done away with its the doors and traps :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle: I've opened the loft up more than it was :)

do you think for your loft and location that its better now ,appears to be more air and light in above waist height ?

location better = no definitely not 50 miles south then top location lol :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle: , I've more natural light which to me is good , air seems to have improved , if i want i can add floor vents later on but going to see how well it works next year before any other alterations ( other than the mini aviaries ) :)

well best fed result was 10th fed so if can get below 10th next year I'll be going in the right direction ;)

not much to take photos of yet took me a full day to wash the dam v perches going to disinfect loft later and put them back up :)

how the birds get let out and trap back into the loft or have a missed sum ut as you took doors away and traps from front they go out side door and come back threw there all best

lol have yet to build the mini aviaries sure I mentioned that I was going to build them , still finishing the doors internally :)

Little finishing touches to my new added on section 5x5 all boxes built just need a sliding door and next box grills and she's good to go

Sorry for the delay chaps/ladys it slipped my mind + i was roped into gloss painting :emoticon-0138-thinking:

 

anyway on with pics still have a sliding door to build the trap to finish ( drop trap )

i dont think i`l be racing just yet!

 

we recently found out expecting another little bundle of joy but with that said i will not be giving up the doo's and they wont take a back seat i just dont think i can dedicate as much time as they would beed to be raced?

 

to b honest i enjoy them for who and what they are at present thats not to say i wont start racing but at the minute i think i`l be leaving the racing on the back burner
