Arrivals spread out but good returns eventually

just thought i would correct your post inv, birds liberated into high broken cloud with sun on crates,dry at racepoint with showers on route,dave barrie, driver, convoyer north of scotland fed.

This does not reflect weather at lib point but enroute and especially at the home end where the sky was dark and gloomy for most of the afternoon with torrential downpours. No offence intended !

no offence taken inv,its just that the true facts upon liberations must be stated as per lib line by race controller as on lib line or else where will we be,we knew conditions at the home end were far from perfect but we had a good start,the warm south wind was a plus and when barry from newcastle phoned to say it had cleared at the coast and blue with broken cloud we had a window so it was all systems go, most i have spoken to had good returns however it looks like i have lost my good wee hen that was coming well, all the best dave barrie

Yes Davy the birdage says it all. And I think that Davie Hay has done a fantastic job as race controller this year despite some really challenging conditions. The weather has been shocking and I would not want to be the controller at the best of times let alone this year but we have the right man in the job, I am 100% convinced of that.
