when u think of the money we spend on pigeons training ets feeding fees for clubs federations nationals etc etc etc etc etc as you all know the list goes on and on

Isn't this much the same idea as 'eyes / roundels' ? Anyone have any experience with using these.

 

Also 'marking' goes against my gut-feeling that I don't want to draw unwelcome attention to my birds.

been using similar on and off when i can get it for years, does work im not kidding, but i use sheep marker spray, its cheaper!!!! but i spray the whole underneath of the wing on mine (not flights though) now my club sec and 2 others have used it in the club

you wouldnt, but could have a couple of non racers with it when train in g

Tried ,eyes ,sequins ,Bali bells over 20 years ago and believe me 100% nothing works only time a falcon ever died was if it chocked on the Bali bell .

you wouldnt get to race them in nationals

 

 

Cant see why not Erch, you will not be allowed to race them in the Nats with your info on them, phone number, wing stamp etc, ;)

it could be a mark letting them know whos bird it is, thats why you are not allowed clip rings etc,

have sent for one m8, I stopped tossing at the quarry at Inverkiething right up at the bridge as the hawk is there all the time, would be a good place to try it out
