I have been in contact with David Jones , a fancier in north Wales and he says there are loads of Scottish pigeons down there. In fact , he has 5 or 6 himself in his aviary. He didnt catch the pigeons to get the ring numbers for me but spotted one of them in aviary and it was SU07L17095 CH WF. I asked him if he could circulate an email around all the club secretaries so we can arrange a collection for all these birds. He will get back to me tomorrow regarding this. My plan is to get these ( hopefully Messac birds ) collected in the next week and then we can get them home. The cost will be split between everyone, equally.

Cheers,

The birds are also in South Wales, one is going back on transporter tomorrow heading for Thurso

Would it be possible for you to liaise with David Jones tel.01492540781 in getting these pigeons collected and then I will take it from there. This would be greatly appreciated by the Scottish fancy as an awful lot of top class pigeons are missing. Thanks

Alan, The pigeons are getting sent up to here.I will let you know when this will happen as we are waiting to collect as many as possible. No way should anyone contact Mr Jones, he has enough to think about. Tell Vince he has to be patient and he will get his bird back.

I have told the guy any expense will be reimbursed ( fuel, feed etc ) and the cost of it all will be SPLIT between all that recieve a pigeon. The charge for a pigeon will be calculated depending on expense of courier etc.No profit or financial gain will be made, everything totally done for the benefit of fanciers and pigeons.

Havent a clue how many birds there are down there. If there are a lot then the price of them will go down. If the cost is £100 to get them up, if 10 birds it will be £10 each, if 50 birds £2 each.Thats just an example, but one thing is for sure NO PROFIT WILL BE MADE.If fanciers would rather pay £40 for a courier then they can.
