I'd thought around 10am would allow that band of rain over the Borders and North of England to break down into sunshine and showers, by the time the birds reached there.

Lindsay Hi Lindsay, the National doos will hang to the east side of the country anyway mate, can't see them heading for Cumbria except the odd doo that breaks out with just a few miles to push - the start of the race is much more important than the hame end (jmo) Baz
