mine have just started to do 2 and a half hours ranging our first yb race is on the 16th July , so will be starting them off when at Bourges , i hate training lol

mines are just getting up together just now lol getting worried they wont be ready

 

All mine were flying other day apart from 12 then slammed wheelie bin went from 12 to 2 not flying , but no come back races , so have to get them all going :)

i had 7 out of 30 up in the sky slammed the loft door shut after a week of no progress 26 doing 20-30 mins i expect them all doing one hour by next week! well thats the plan lol

i have started to chase my older 1's the last week or so to keep the old doos flying so they are pumped oot at hawf 5 in the morning the noo and then back oot in the afternoon/evening with the flag up for at least an hour and all bar 1 y/b are doing it easy but the lazy fkr better get the finger oot or it wulnae last :emoticon-0127-lipssealed::emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

lol been doing same with my young birds lapping old uns going out it's keeping them going :)

think my prob is they are out at 6 at night maybe try and get them out at 5am always thought they flew better at that time or that early

 

it's all about getting the amount of grub you give them about right geo ;)

once mine start to bunch up i switch them to mornings , i believe birds like sun on there backs rather than a chill to early in the morning , my old birds go out from 7.30 til 8.30 then my ybs get to go out at 9am :) i let them do as they please on open hole till 12 :)

Mine took their time getting on the wing (seems to have paid dividends tho with only 1 lost off top) they are now ranging for an hour mornings and evenings. Quite happy to let them do that for another 2/3 weeks (racing doesn't start till 23rd July) then I will start training with my club mate.

no road work yet but mine have been sitting in the basket every saturday while i wait for race birds, and if your waiting for my birds thats a long time in the basket

plenty of time to feed and water them future channel birds ;) bet they aren't bouncing around basket tho ;)
