Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Time now for England to show some spunk and need to react quicker. Scotland are moving the ball first chance with quick repetative passes. - Reminds me of the famous Spurs side of the early sixties 'Push and run'. Scotland are also making their own luck. Think 21 to 15 to England will be the final score at days end! ;) ;D ;D Mind this is just what England wanted and needed in their build up to the World Cup. Different aspects to couteract against. Will also put the ability of Martin Johnson to the test too.
Delboy Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Scotland were robbed , the ref was torture > >
Tony C Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Just about the worst game of rugby I've ever watched.

Delboy Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Just about the worst game of rugby I've ever watched. The defences were brilliant on both sides, this in turn cancels out any tries being scored
Guest stb- Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 The defences were brilliant on both sides, this in turn cancels out any tries being scored WHOT WOULD YOU KNOW ABOOT RUGBY :X :X :P ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Well England dropped the defensive line out to couteract the quick passing of the Scots, which obviosly worked and nullified the chances of a try. However, this in turn meant it limited the English chances of intercepting, and closing the Scots forward which in turn nullified the English chances of getting tries. So hence a dullified game. However, it augers well for the future I guess. Especially England as they needed to work this out ... Live the line out Andy Robinson used to put up when England maager, and was rebuilding - or trying to - and English side. Ashton got him / us out the crap then.
Tony C Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I see it more as they hadn’t the nous to explore each others weaknesses.

just ask me Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 none of the teams have to tools to unlock a defence the only way a try was going to be scored was by a interception or by a mistake imagination and creative play definitely wasn't seen
Roland Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 none of the teams have to tools to unlock a defence the only way a try was going to be scored was by a interception or by a mistake imagination and creative play definitely wasn't seen True. Like I say it was a needs - be Nullyifying tactical game. Neither side deserved to win in reality. But it was a shrew, and clever and vastly improved nullifying Scottish side that played hard and as a team. They also showed the traditional passion that England lacked.

Roland Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 away ya sassanach yi ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;Dcome on scotland A sassanach is a Scotsman from the Lowlands's. From the Jacobite /Cambell era etc. Yes some now try to place it upon the English saying that they are also from the lowlands, which is true of course compared to higher grounded places. So I suppose in that, then then all from Holland are Sassanachs lol! :P ;D ;D Mind got so now that even some say same when Googled.
Roland Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 So it was the term the Stewarts etc. called the Campbells etc. Mind got a few Campbells down here now and thaey are right sassanachs lol ;D ;D ;D
