Guest IB Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 5/7 - my last arrival was 1815. Did have a strange one though, tagging along with that last one was a yearling hen that I lost training at Lauder on 27th April. Pigeon has been in the wars, lost its full tail (now quarter regrown) signs of an old injury to the back and one foot - still limping - and covering feather regrowth on one wing. Hard to believe it survived in wild for a month like this.

Roundo Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 25 out of 27 from Newark 222 miles with Scottish Central. Had a good result, but my best racing hen returned with a burst crop, thankfully all stitched now.Hopefully she'll make a full recovery, as her place in the stock loft is waiting on her Colin. Now 27/27.......last two landed this afternoon.
