I bred a cheq delbar cock who is now a three yr old but this year he moulted a bronze tinge?????There must be some red somewhere in his blood. The Vandenabeeles in the stock loft threw a silver from a cheq and a blue! Unfortunately it was a bit of a grunter and was dispatched!!!!!
billt Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Well I must say that old fella looks great, why horseshoe?
geordie1234 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 These birds just look a complete picture of health all the best mate with your crackers
yeboah Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Well I must say that old fella looks great, why horseshoe? Thanks he has always been in good health no need for pills or potions ,i called him horseshoe because he has a very distinctive white horseshoe at the back of his neck ,one of his sons a dark wf has the same marking ,it took me fifteen years but i was lucky enough last year to get a blue wf daughter from him with the same horseshoe so really chuffed ,his first eggs this year have hatched out a couple of days ago ,he is more than capable of rearing the youngsters but i must admit he does get his extra share of hormoform, extreme energy and the odd peanut
