blaz Posted July 2, 2011 Author Report Posted July 2, 2011 Well done Blaz Your no bad at this I take a small consolation in my picking-my picks mother was my fourth doo from Ypres tonight, kinnae clutching at straws here well i am over the moon with not only 1014 but my 1st bird from ypres . as by mistake i sent 1617 to ypres last year(at not even a year old) .i missed clocking him as was told i had to take clock down on the night which was wrong .when i get back at 8.35 ish he was sitting in his box fed waterd and resting. i was happy when he was 36th open eastbourne then to clock him at last from ypres at 4.44 he also scored from marlborough

JohnQuinn Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Sent a Blue Ck to this one hoping to get a 3rd SNFC certificate of the Season, but never got him until 8.59
alex young Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 The two I picked 49 and 56 have done nothing other than being consistant, one got a 3rd in a midweek race but thats it.They both won last season and are out of my best birds so will get another chance next season.
Henrik Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 My first one 1431 got lost, the other 1444 went to Ypres and came at 18.49 bit late but I,m happy.
blaz Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Posted July 7, 2011 1014 season is now at an end 1st club 6th fed otterburn2nd club 5th fed 24sec 172 open marlbourgh in a very hard race.3rd club 14th fed open 214th open eastbourneand he topped of his 1st season as a yearling with 127 open ypres the reson i have brought this back up is for a young glasgow lad of 16 who was going to tell me how to race my birds on a diffrent system. i know the cheek of it. his name is andy i can mind being that forward and cheeky at 16. so the 2 late breeds from him will go to wee andy.

blaz Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Posted July 7, 2011 i thought it was an adult i was talking 2 on another forum.so i was a bit blunt with my reply .when the kid said he was only 16 and still learning . he is only a barin so rings in post to me and he will come through with his papa . when i was a young lad with fantails and tumblers and a mix of others. i climb the wall to see next doors racers and ask about them .i was told to fu** off before he put his boot up my ar**. life has a funny way of paying good turns and bad turns back.as i now make sure at every chance i have of letting him know his race birds and his sons are not in the same zone as the wee lad that only wanted a wee bit advice and help.both also know the wee lad has BOOTS of his own
