Guest bigda Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 looks like you got it sorted Danny fairer options for all well done Bigda thanks for you support Allan you know its the fairest race every bird coming into Scotland has no death valley to content with, and by far all birds should be coming in fanned out, harder for a peregrine strike, and you doos have more of a chance the old way of through the valleys. then to be Shepherded about before the kill the reason i would like you to suport this as there are far to many doos on the east coat at that time of year it would solve one problem

Guest bigda Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 all in favour of keeping them off the easy east side Danny yer hearts, in the right place there Allan, there are others on here, if I had to use a blow torch i still could"nt give them a red neck. anyhow I have spoken to 6 guys who say it should be discussed, and they are happy with it instead of eastborn, would like to hear from the south easterners as to what they would think of it. have put up there measurment, fair as they are, not holing out much hope as i believe just as like the Ypres race on 2001 they craped out of it. and will no doub tell the tales around the camp fires, about how much of a sportsmen they have been on national racing

Henrik Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Nae point in having a nosebleed Big-Gub you got too much to say about a club of which you are not even a member. High time the SNFC got back to its roots and organised a long distance programme instead of catering for the sprint men, thats what Federations are for. Get the Gold Cup around the 550ml mark to the central belt, get them up early, and give every pigeon the chance to home on the day if they are good enough.

Glad of your comment herik yes what you say i will back yes you are right i am not in the Nat, but should i join and at present i am going with the national as we have singed up to be taken going to Ireland gives you a further race point as to what you had at eastborn so that you should appreciate looks like the eastern boys want to be like the dog in the manger will lie on the straw but will not let the forward thinking animals eat it the race for the gold cup i have already told you where your going is messac how dose that grab you henrik
Henrik Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Messac will be fine by me but would like to know how you are so sure of this. Personally I would like to stay at Reims but aint too fussed as long as its around 550mls,as for Ireland dont see that happening at all as we will be going to Ypres for the foreseeable future if what I hear is correct but I will wait and see how the voting goes at the AGM.

walterbmasson Posted January 20, 2011 Author Report Posted January 20, 2011 danny go for the ireland race point and name it THE S N F C GREAT WILD WEST CLASSIC B I G D A
Guest bigda Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 danny go for the ireland race point and name it THE S N F C GREAT WILD WEST CLASSIC B I G D A walter with you on board, and them not being able to stopand hold onto the birds, an early lib would be avalable and you having to race 514 mile will not stopyour comitment, as you fear no one, but all you ask is a what the galley slave asked, was a fair crackof the whip
walterbmasson Posted January 21, 2011 Author Report Posted January 21, 2011 DANNY i couldent have said it any better nail on the head --- what i have noticed looking through the posts regarding the SNFC overseas nationals is that every post on here they all want as easy a race as possible last year i posted for a national race from oslo in norway a very tough race but every fancier on a level footing some of the replys that was given to this post 290 miles of water --- ludicrous etc then GARETH RANKIN CAME AWAY WITH --- hamburg --- DOG LEG ALLY BRILLENT ------ ANOTHER CAME AWAY WITH 25FEET HAWKS --- BUT DID ANY ONE SIT DOWN AND LOOK AT ALL DISTANCES FOR THIS RACE POINT EVERY FANCIER HAS THE CHANCE OF WINNING THIS RACE AND FLYING ALMOST THE SAME DISTANCES but it was to tought a race before its even been tried ( BUT AFTER ALL ITS A NATIONAL EVENT OF DISTANCE RACING AND THE PIGEON THAT WON THIS RACE WOULD BE A TRUE CHAMPION ) DANNY ALL national events should have a certain amount of diffulicty in there way but as you can see most want as easy races as possible lofts crammed with crap when they know if theres any bad conditions in a race there never heard of again some mentioned LERWICK WELL THAT IS A STRANGE ONE FOR THE NORTH BOYS LIB AT 5AM TIMING AT 7-30AM I DONT THINK THAT ONE WILL GO ANY WHERE BUT FOR THE GOLD CUP IT MUST BE OSLO ====== 1997 RENNES 1997 SNFC NATIONAL 3,269 BIRDS ONLY 21 IN RACE TIME AND I CAN TELL YOU THERES BEEN SOME CRACKERS OF DISASTERS SINCE I STARTED IN NATIONAL RACING --- A CHANGE OF LINE OF FLIGHT WOULD MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE TO RETURNS AS THE BOP KNOW WHERE THE FOOD CHAIN IS --- ITS US THAT ARE THE PLONKERS TO KEEP FEEDING OUR BIRDS TO THEM I HAVE NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT WHAT DO YOU THINK DANNY MATE

Guest bigda Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 dannyboy the greats of yesteryears in the west sec never moaned about it its just you at it . maybe you should try west nat only ? you will get aloan of my wheelbarrow two transport them tiger, you have the wrong end of the story, as i have said before years ago, they where at the mercy of the train, and stage coach, now days with satelliteand Teriann discovery, we should be giving every one a chance of the national, do you honesty believe flying west someone has an advantage here never though flying from the west would bring so many bleeding noses, what with west wind aid no hawk attacks no big batches of doos being attacked, you tell me where we will have a chance to race from with better conditions than that. bigda as is if you are not here with a solution don't be part of the problem
Guest bigda Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 fanciers choice for gold cup would be between Reims or Rennes
