It might be too soon to ask this question but is there anybody in the west of scotland had any TOP results with them at any distance??

Hi Jim

Billy Allisons good cock Alfie - believe i would be correct in saying that the grand Dam came from the loft of Raymond Moleveld??.

I myself bred a cock from an inbred hen supplied by Raymond, this cock scored from 2 very hard Eastbourne races 387 miles one of these performances when he was less than 12 months old winning 6th section and 11th section from 1100 birds. In 2010 i had a few other birds crosses containing the blood from Raymonds lofts but unfortunately our loft was out of sorts for one reason or another so hopefully in 2011 i will give them the best opportunity possible from 500-600 miles.

Like you say Jim it possibly maybe too early to say if they will stand up to the rigours of the west of Scotland, but up until now they have done not to bad in the few years that they have been in the country.

cheers

Jim with 70 pairs at stock what would you pick. There is not 70 Pre-Potent stock pairs in the U.K.

If the average fancier cannot be in a position to purchase from a Pre-Potent stock pair then what Andy should a fancier doo to move forward, think it would be a good idea for you to explain to the fanciers of this great sport. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

Thought it was your new years resolution not to mention the 2% in 2011 :emoticon-0136-giggle:

As i say Gareth time will tell :rolleyes:

Agree,

Its not only the West of Scotland, its the whole of Scotland. May take a few years to breed the grit into them, also its different conditioning than anywhere in Europe with maybe the exception of N Ireland. Time will Tell as a few have stated.

Its not always the purchasing its who is selling the great pairs that are not past their best or sell by date.Let me know who is selling such a pair and we can go haffers or go in with Jim and split the youngsters.Let your gaurd down on the 2 % and we will all be dommed with lofts full off the 98%.Lets meet up at Blackpool and go on the hunt for such a pair and a swally at the same time.Take care and keep in touch.

N Ireland one of the hardest places to race into especially from France 2 channels and many hazards......

Yes your right , time will tell!! I did have a call 2 weeks ago from a guy in the west of scotland who had won 39th Open National in Scotland on a long race with a 50% Moleveld and he told me about two Brothers who also flew in the west, they had purchased a bird from the Newmains sale that Raymond had and it had produced some real crack pigeons for them at the distance!! Taken there loft on a step "his words".

All welcome to come along and have a look, the bar will be open.
