Guest pied 09 Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 really good player , bring even bigger crowds in and sell upteen shirts but, who's getting dropped for him to play? lennon with his pace? bale? van der vaart? modric? theres only the holding roll left unless harry doesnt want a midfield enforcer.

Tony C Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Football is a business, signing Beckham will be good business with shirt sales and the like. Can only see him playing midfield with he's lack of pace, he'd get skinned if he was put out on the flanks. If going to Spurs he'd slot into Huddlestone's position till he returns.
Guest mick bowler Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Well according to Mr Ferguson Utd dont need and wont be signing anyone, after watching todays and the Brum games i would say he needs to take off them rose tinted specs. They are just not good enough, no creativity in the middle of the park, and still short of top defenders as cover.
BLACK W F Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 David Beckham and his link with Tottenham is dominating the press this morning, and the latest news if that Harry Redknapp insists the deal is not financially motivated they reckon tics will sign 22 players as the ones they got are crap
Wiley Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Quite agree but says much for the other top teams when United can have a poor team and still be in the driving seat. Robbie Keane to Newcastle is a nice Rumour very doubtful Mike Ashley would dip that deep into his pocket though!Being a spurs man, rumour is Keane is going to Newcastle with carrol coming the opposite way, with a million fee going to Newcastle. Also the link with Beckham could have some truth in it, our midfield and defence is always plagued with injuries, so its highly likely Uncle Harry would be looking for short term replacements when the first choice midfielder are not fit. However also rumour glen johnson will be coming for 12 million, as well as blackburns chris samba for the region of 8 milion.
BLACK W F Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 you have nee chance big andy is stayin put punt your crap some where else
ALF Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH RYAN I CANNAE SEE ANY WAY THAT YOUZ WOULD GET CARROL FOR KEANE PLUS A MILLION MATE AS CARROL HAS TO BE WORTH AT LEAST £15 MILLION IMO
Guest pied 09 Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 think its more the defence harry has to have look at. the form were in we score for fun but let a fair few in too. we need cover or some one who is better than what we already have in the back 4

His currently estimated as £10 Million, Andy Carroll there saying a £20 Million bid would secure him, so i would have thought if the rumours was true Keane plus £5 Million, would be a good deal for Newcastle, and for Carroll. In all aspects Tottenham don't need Carroll at all, they would be better sticking to there prospects of Gary Cahill, and Chris Samba to cover the back four, in which they really need to strenghten with not injury prone players.
