Roland Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 Think you should be sending a private P.M asking why tskyes. After all it is personal to you the reason. No one else as of yet will have a inkling, nor then obviously give a jot anyway. Just a repetion of rehashed post that no one needs to read. Sure one will explain :-/ Then take it from there eh! :-/

dwh Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 perhaps youre in the minority , and everyone else is happy with it. andy. YOU HAVE TO PAY TO ADVERTISE IN THE WEEKLYS SO WHY NOT CONTRIBUTE TO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE

DOVEScot Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 PERHAPS THERES ONLY ME WITH A BACKBONE 2 ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT IT ! I think when the post was put up about it we all got our chance to ask questions and moan about it. Whether it was a good idea for the members and the site time will tell. Backbone well that depends whether it is rigid or flexible :-/
Guest spin cycle Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 i think that it's a good idea...the site has to make some money...and if it cuts down a bit on the number of sales,in my view, even better. there are times when latest post board has been clogged with sales
tskyes Posted December 24, 2009 Author Report Posted December 24, 2009 IF I WANT ON HERE 2 KEEP U LOT AWAKE WOT WUD U ALL DO ?

Guest mick bowler Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 Kind of epitomises the pigeon fancier, happy to take his share but when he has to dip in his own pocket then moan moan moan!
Guest joshdonlan Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 I agree to a point, BUT IMO i think that it will be the end of BARGAINS say a basket or nestboxes for £10 :-/
BANDIT Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 25 pound isnt much if you sell a few birds over the year,i havent paid yet but will in the new year,it helps the forum so a good idea.i think its a small price to pay for advertising your surplus birds.
Guest lenwadebob Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 At £2.08 an Advert, it's a bargain. In many places you can't even put a post card in the Newsagents window for a month for that money (especially at pigeonpete's ;D ;D)
mark croker Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 I dont know anything about all this, must have missed it, can someone point me to the information about it all, thanks

mark croker Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 Thanks, I like it, makes selling and buying safer, can you still give stuff away for free ? its not bad for the space you are getting, as long as every member does not get made to pay then i dont see the problem,

catchthepigeon Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 I agree to a point, BUT IMO i think that it will be the end of BARGAINS say a basket or nestboxes for £10 :-/ Im sure the one off fee was something like £2.50 so you will have to bump it up to £12.50 I would like to know if im speaking to someone in pm and they say for example i have a basket for a tenner i will meet you at blackpool with it is this breaking the rules if there not a gold member
THE FIFER Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 Thanks, I like it, makes selling and buying safer, can you still give stuff away for free ? its not bad for the space you are getting, as long as every member does not get made to pay then i dont see the problem, yes there is still the wanted and free stuff boards

It would be hard to detect anyway. I think Admin are relying on members honesty, but I would say that if the Sales rules start getting abused, we all know what the consequences would possibly be.
