jos made some serious money of the birds he put up but nothink that i didnt aspect they would of been makeing there no different from the likes of jos birds to top dog lad owners trainers to horse trainers owners if the results are there in the pudding they make seriuse money you wont get them for peanuts i admire the thone strain of birds do like them my self same as misses the thone strain done vey well round my way as well as most other places in uk for different fanciers jos results are somethink that any fancier be happy to achieve a fraction off what jos as done with his birds just a fancier that got good birds that graft and graft and win against some seriouse competition hence why his birds ws makeing alot of money on pipa same thing aplys to any top fancier that put birds on there koopman as well they go for seriouse money when there up on pipa site.

I did speak to one guy once who bought a cock at auction for £1,000, guaranteed to breed winners.

After two seasons it had not bred a winner, he contacted Mr Thone, who sent a repalcement immeadiatly.

like him or loathe him I don't think you can question his fairness

theres good and bad in all familys i have a fair collection of them but they are mostly his distance lines time will tell how good they are but ped wise they out standin and the birds are a very nice lot which i am very happy with some are already proven producers as where i bought them from they scored last season with their off springs
