kraftykev Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Hi again what month do you think is the best for hatching birds to fly the young bird race program. Cheers Kev www.spencroftlofts.co.uk
fletch Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 the later the better if they were going to be natural, you would be suprised how well may birds will do for ya
Guest redlad24 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 as louella do say, bred in may they'll fly all day
Roland Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Egg or young in May fly all the way I heard. August / September hardly tossed, then just a couple of 100 milersor so following year for 18 months later down the as Old birds definately take all the beating. Patience is the Key word for late breds
cemetary Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Pair up the last week in Jan, that will do for me.
lanarkshire lad Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 Pair up the last week in Jan, that will do for me. some older stock pigeons seem to produce better youngsters in june or july something to do with weather which brings them into better breeding condition.JMO
THE FIFER Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 after Blackpool, and hopefully better weather
