Roland
Mind the ruling bodies in all nations are really to blame with their' pussy footing mealy mouth trying to, and even bending over backwards to be on the Players and clubs side - to speak and no pun intended lol. Crowding and presuring refs, foul and absusive languane and spitting etc. should be stamped out ... possibly with points deducted. Throwing missiles should encurr a 12 point deduction. But if the supporters hold him and hand him over to the authorities, then only 6 points deducted when proven what side he actually supports. About time the REFS stood up to be counted and hopefully they do strike and make a precedent.Mind they would still in England make specially acceptions for Man U and Sir Alex, and only Refs in their supporters clubbeing allowed to officiate at their' games, home and away as usual. stantheman
As a referee myself i fully agree with them going on strike as its offensive to say that the refs have been bias or even worse accused of cheating, the powers that be ought to back them to the hilt and maybe it would sort out the conmen, divers and cheats within the game who are vastly overpaid for what they do. As regards the claim that %80 of referees in scotland failed a test on the rules of the game what a load of rubbish as firstly there are no rules they are called laws of the game and secondly if you fail your annual fitness test and exam you have to step down a level at least so you would not be reffing at the top divisions, for my part now i am getting fit again and starting refereeing again i take no hassle off anyone on the pitch and believe you me word soon gets round and my games usually go off with no problems also my rules are simple swear at me or accuse me of cheating then its a red card and off they go and if this was implemnted at top flight level the game would benifit so much for itall best stan

Guest Davy Fleming
Lennon that started all this sh-t, and glad to see the refs having the courage to do something about it and basically make a point as they don't deserve this pressure. At the end of the day they are there to do a job but don't deserve the treatment they are getting . Still very dissapointed that the scabs have broke a picket line if they continue with a game this weekend. Refs are humans not robots. Guest Davy Fleming
I can imaging Lennon putting on a black jersey for 90 minutes and see what happens at the end of the game. He is only trying to make a name for himself but I think it is for all the wrong reasons the wee WEASEL
JADE
i think the clubs should have backed the refs and refused to play using foreign officials. be interesting to see how many managers would have agreed particularly the loud mouth little t__t that caused it. managers usually criticise referees to hide their own shortcomings
hotrod
the refs have changed there minds after consulting their linesmen he he .
