It was on a couple owe weeks ago, then the threads got removed, yes i agree cause it was hijacking a sale thread, onwhich i posted on, but it shouldnt be allowed to happen on the site.

i donated y/bs to a sale that IAN MCKAY run the guy who bought them never sent for them after numerous pms ended up the birds where too strong on the wing and i got that pished off i let them oot but i did pm the guy with the offer i would breed him some next season cant be any fairer than that

this is the biggest joke thread ive seen in recent months..

 

this matter was raised when i had sales and guess what happened....NOTHING!

the purchasers or i should say ..none purchasers got away with it .

thats why i wont sell or buy on here again!!!

 

similar rules were in place then .

 

as far as im concerned these rules mean nothing..although some would have you believe they do.

Some guy from Dublin had a pair off me last season and all proceeds to go to the PB site. I sent the birds as I was going back to Europe and never heard a bloody thing. So the site lost out. Never be caught again.

i know what you mean steve when i had my sale a bloke from dublin bought 5 birds and i never got the money, fortunatly he never got the birds, i think they should be named and shamed jmo

when selling i aways get payment up front before birds go, if payment does not come on time i put them back up for sale same with auctions i wait till i see that thay have paid to site before i let birds go, if someone fails to pay in an auction thay should be re offered for auction starting at the reserve price, the guilty member should not be aloud to bid again.

i cant see point if your not interested in bird why bid just to bump price up for someone that is interested in perchaseing the birds i think all these pm bids are crap should be on open forum if they wont to bid on birds they shouldnt need to hide behind personal message thats just my views every bird ive bought from this site as soon as ive iver been highest bidder after close of auction or an buy it now price as soon as i say i wont the bird i message the owner and get contact details and i send the cost of the bird down to them as soon as possible and as soon as they reseave payment i order courier when there is a slot in there area for pick up thats me if i wasnt interested in bird in first place the thought wouldnt ever cross my mind to place bid on bird ever bird i bid on is a bird that i would like myself in my loft or the misses loft to try iver there offspring or its self on road simple YOU NOT INTERESTED INBIRDS LEAVE BE AS YOUR ONLY RUIENING IT FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE .

Can confirm the birds were paid for but just not collected so the ball is in the guys court if he wants birds next year I know Alan will supply as promised

I have only ever bought one bird through this site , had no problems what so ever , arranged to collect it paid for it however i feel buyers have the right to be annonimous and pm bids should be accepted , however i do feel that the pm bids should be added to the thread minus users name before end of sale and on completion of a sale the pm bid to be copied and pasted as each message is time stamped . It's also important that if your conducting an auction you should be onsite for at least an hour before to conclude the sale .

Sellers : Should ensure that payments are recieved before birds sent out , if theres problems with a sale where people have decided not to go through with the sale , thats the right of the buyer , yes it waistes time and is unfortunate , a contract of buying is only finalised when payment is recieved and bird or item recieved . The best way is to get a paypal account and get buyers to send funds dirrect , this is by far the quickest means for both seller and buyer .

Auctions : members should ensure that when bidding they have the funds to buy no birds should be sent until the funds have cleared and a message from the auctoneer has been made . With ybs swaps ectra this is a bit of a grey area as most good lofts will select the ybs and if see fit two ybs could easily become one as the vendor / swapper may remove any inferior bird . On many occasions i've actualy given an extra bird free of charge .

I'ts important for sellers to tell admin or the site moderators of anyone who is trying buying and not paying as these offenders shouldnt be allowed to bid / buy birds as unfair on others , so if you have anything unresolved please pass on to THEFIFER via the pm system , the site cant be blamed for how others conduct themselves and sales falling through thats between the seller and buyer. On that note this thread will now be locked .
