I,ve just recently added skype to my laptop, hoping to use it with friends in the pigeon world. Does anyone use it, and how do you rate it.

I've never used it Alex but I have a mate accross the road who has a lad working in one of the Arab States says it's the best thing ever.With free evening and weekend call packages if you have no one abroad I don't think they'll be much use for it,could be wrong.

cheers for those replys, i was wanting to use the webcam side of things to be part of conversations with friends in peterhead. When you use the webcam its all free as well, thats why i got it, just never used it yet lol

I use skype all the time and talk with friends in Borneo, Australia and Portugal using the webcam its more interesting. I talk most weeks for at least 4 hours and it doesn't cost a penny.

We used it a few years ago on sites like this with great lads and lassies.

Cant recommend it enough, the only thing is when you get on you cant get off, made friends some gone and some still here but make sure you have plenty of time because its very addictive.

it's brilliant,we use it to see the 2 wee grand daughters down in london about 3/4 times every day. they are 8 months & 2 years old.

although we go down to london as often as we can,skype certainly keeps you entertained with them on a daily basis.
