Racing Pigeons In India

Next month I am fortunate enough to visiting poultry farms in India with some friends.

 

I do not know whether pigeons are kept or raced in India.

 

Any information that you can supply would be greatly appreciated.

After watching the Commonwealth Games and seeing the number of pigeons on the roads during the cycle races I'm sure there must be a lot of racing going on there

did see a small video clip at start of year the misses found it think it was on youtube about pigeon raceing in india shore race the doos over there

They are only there because no one could catch them to eat.
