Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Don't worry mate everything will be ok thanks does that mean i can delete it or should i just leave well alone
Roland Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 From what I read on the Info, you can delete the Training. Also no worries it will clock them in the race. Says impossible to miss a bird etc. etc.

hoodedclaw Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 when you put the clock on in the morning it will just go to the birds you marked for the race
Guest j.bamling Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 just delete the traing no problem nothing you can touch will effect race marked birds !!!
REDCHEQHEN Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 just delete the traing no problem nothing you can touch will effect race marked birds !!! Famous last words (evil)
Guest j.bamling Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Famous last words (evil) you know i know these things susan ;)
sapper756 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 when you put the clock on in the morning it will just go to the birds you marked for the race However you must delete the trainers, as the system will not clock a bird from a race that is recorded in training mode, but once you delete training, all should be fine good luck
Blue Tooner Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 just delete the traing no problem nothing you can touch will effect race marked birds !!! Absolutely correct other than hitting the base station with a hammer ;D ;D
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I believe that you will find that the training toss will have been erased automatically when you enter the birds into the race.
alex wight Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 However you must delete the trainers, as the system will not clock a bird from a race that is recorded in training mode, but once you delete training, all should be fine good luck as the bird has been marked for the race, irrelevant if its recorded as a trainer, it will still register on arrival from the race, as a racer any problems have a rope handy ;D
Guest tom123 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 click f button scroll down to delete training press green button for ok trainers will dissappear race birds are secure no problem you cannot delete or touch race birds once they sre actived in race mode
sapper756 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 as the bird has been marked for the race, irrelevant if its recorded as a trainer, it will still register on arrival from the race, as a racer any problems have a rope handy ;D well Alec this is what happened at our club last year, 2 members scanned their rings to put on their youngsters, and did not erase training, on marking night, all birds went through ok, how ever when the clocks were taken off, these 2 members birds were recorded, but no times of arrival, got in touch with Unikon reps and explained, and outcome was, because training had not been erased, arrival times did not record :-/
THE FIFER Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 that was this year sapper it was the old bird racing,
alex wight Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Last week i had the same scenario, but all was well. In saying that we have the champ system which may be set up differently. These systems should be fail safe by now, but u no and i no, they aint. all the best for today
sapper756 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 that was this year sapper it was the old bird racing, "finger on the pulse, there fifer"
Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 training has now been erased with no problems so fingers crossed everything will be ok thanks every one
Hawkeye Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 I see that your having some of the same problems were having with the unikon in the US. we had birds that were entered in a race half came in traing mode , the other in race mode. could not print the results out.Clocks that jump ahead 24 hrs while in race mode. Unikon was no help. Full of excuse but very short on answers
